Geoff Seeff and the Woodford Wheezards. Following their resounding success at the Woodford Festival in 2008, as measured in terms of rotten fruit that was not thrown and street riots that did not break out, the Woodford Wheezards have been invited back to establish whether this phenomenon could be attributed to their musicianship or simply the fact that that no one was listening.

Redbridge Art Group Exhibition at St Mary's Parish Church on Saturday 3rd October is open from 10 am to 9 pm. All paintings are for sale. Refreshment will be available and there is access to all parts of the exhibition for the disabled.

Sunday October 11th 2009 at 11am. On the final day of the Festival, the morning service at Woodford Wells Ecumenical Church will take the form of a celebration of our community and its many talents. Open to all who’d like to join us.
“Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day” (2008) by Bharat Nalluri. Runtime: 92 min. (weblink 1)(weblink 2). Guinevere Pettigrew, a middle-aged London governess, finds herself unfairly dismissed from her job. An attempt to gain new employment catapults her into the glamorous world and dizzying social whirl of an American actress and singer.
