     University of East London Mayfest 10. 5th May 2010
Mayfest 2010 is taking place on Wednesday 5 May at our Docklands campus 12-7pm. There will be plenty going on with live music, performances, stalls, sports and more.
     More London Free Festival 2010. 2nd June - 1st October 2010, at The Scoop at City Hall
The Scoop at More London, City Hall, is an outdoor sunken amphitheatre seating 800. Throughout the summer months it regularly hosts a variety of free events - from free films, free music and free theatre to local community events and activities.
     Loughton Festival. March 13th - May 3rd 2010
The first Loughton Festival was held in the spring of 2007. It attracted a large audience, many of whom travelled to Loughton to enjoy a weekend of talks, music, art events and an extremely popular walk through Epping Forest.
     Chingford Village Festival - June 26th 2010 midday - 11pm

     Greenwich+Docklands International Festival. 24th June - 4th July 2010
See the world from a different angle at this year’s Greenwich+Docklands International Festival and join us for some amazing international theatre spectacle alongside new commissions and London premiers from a whole host of outstanding companies.
     Waltham Abbey Town Show. 26th - 27th June 2010
The Waltham Abbey Town Show has been operating for 9 years and attracts a wide range of craft exhibitors. The 2010 Town Show will incorporate a craft fair marquee into the existing show which boasts helicopter rides, funfair, music & sideshows.
     Chingford Day in Ridgeway Park (Miniature Train Rides). Sunday 4th July 2010

     London City Airport Fun Day & Air Show. Sunday 4th July 2010
The annual London City Airport Fun Day & Air Show will take place in July 2010. With a host of activities, air show and entertainment offering a unique and fun day out for Londoners of all ages
     Walthamstow Festival. Usaually held in July 12 noon - 10:30pm
A packed Saturday all round the square (High Street Walthamstow) with stuff popping up everywhere and at any time. A packed celebration including: live music, street theatre, stilt walkers, magicians, belly dancers and a film.
     Rhythm of London Music Events. All over London. Usually held in July
Rhythm of London is a two-day celebration of music making, each with a distinct focus, taking place on throughout London.
     Capital AGE Festival. 9th - 10th July 2010

     Leytonstone Festival. July 15th - 23rd 2010
Organised by the Leytonstone Festival Association and run entirely by volunteers, the Festival programme showcases local talent, and covers: art, comedy, dance, drama, film, literature, music, and poetry.
     Dagenham Town Show. Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July 2010, 11am - 8.30pm
This is a free event The Town Show features a host of entertainment for all the family including the craft and trade village, funfair, rides, competitions and exhibitions from the Council and voluntary sector.
     Hackney Homes Fun Day. Saturday 24th July 2010 11.00am - 6.00pm
A day of entertainment, facepainters, dancers, competitions, music, arts and crafts and other fantastic activities for children & all ages. Haggerston Park Audrey Street, off Goldsmith's Row E2 8QH.
     Shoreditch Festival. 16th - 18th July 2010
Produced by Shoreditch Trust, the Festival is an annual highlight of the East London cultural calendar. It has an impressive record in delivering high quality performances and imaginative initiatives which are bold, creative and engaging

Offset returns to the beautiful Hainault Forest Country Park this summer, with another weekend of forward thinking music, creativity and fun in the forest, with over 200 artists & 8 stages.

     The Mayor's Thames Festival. 11th -12th September 2010
The Mayor's Thames Festival activities take place on the River Thames, the riverside walkways, roads, bridges, docks and public open spaces from Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge and beyond.
     Wanstead Festival. Sunday 19th September 2010. 11am - 5pm
Christchurch Green, High Street, Wanstead. E11. A great day out for the whole family. With so many activities you'll be spoilt for choice. Free entertainment and attractions.
     Open House (Open City) London. 18th - 19th September 2010
Architecture Up Close. For one weekend in the year, Londoners come together exploring all corners of the Capital, inspired by the power of architecture to transform the quality of our lives. Programmes at your local library mid August.
     Car Free Day Leytonstone. Usually held in September
A family fun day on the streets of Leytonstone. All roads to the town centre closed to traffic. Enjoy Leytonstone Town Centre as a traffic-free urban space.
