After the official opening of the Festival at St Mary’s Church High Road South Woodford (See Opening Ceremony), on offer is a full day packed with diverse cultural activities that will offer fun and interest to young and old, families , music lovers, dancers and those who simply want to sit back and take in the ambience. Our traditional art and craft fair will be held in the main hall and many of the bands, choirs and entertainers who will be performing at events during the week of the Festival will be showcasing their talents. We have also invited schoochildren to present their talents in a competition we are staging. A barn dance will take place during the afternoon. The ‘Kinovan’, showing a continuous film illustrating life in Redbridge and, in particular, Woodford, will be operating in the car park outside the hall. And it’s all free!
